Customer Review: Great Phone - it worked well for us for over 2 years
My wife and I bought this phone in 2005 and it has been a great phone and answering machine for us. About 6 months ago the battery started dying on us quite regularly and it finally got to the point where you couldnt talk for more than about 10 minutes before it would die entirely. If we could have found a replacement battery for a decent price, we probably would have just replaced the battery, but it was actually cheaper to replace the entire unit with a similar ATT handset (that were also pretty happy with).
Customer Review: Acceptable, but display died.
Like most others, bought per CUs recommendation. If this was the best of the lot, the others must be really awful!. Sound quality and overall low volume are minor liabilities. The handset display, however, has lost the ability to display entire contents, making Caller ID and Call Return generally useless. ATT wont replace if warranty expired or repair, so Im stuck with looking for another entire unit. In response to another review, Ive been able to use chain dialing just fine. Thats like for the 1-800 number for my calling card followed upon connection with my PIN. There is a pause that can be inserted between the two, giving just enough time to make the through connection.
